The launch of the VALLEY BELLE occured in1883 in Hamar, Ohio.
1926 she was modified from a Packet to a towboat.
Usually the VALLEY BELLE was in use to tow Bryant’s Showboat.
1943 the VALLEY BELLE sank in Kanauga, Ohio. The VALLEY BELLE did not have any accident in her 60 year life on the Ohio River. That`s a unique record in the history of Mississippi Steamboats.
