The beginning of the DELTA QUEEN is not located on the Mississippi- River- System,
but in „good old Europe“.
She was assembled in Scotland, dismounted and reassembled on the west cost of America. There she drove the route between Sacramento and San Francisco.
Later on she was brougtht via the Panama- Chanel(!) to the Mississippi and further up to the Ohio. She is still running, but not a old Mississippi- Steamboat.
Greg was aboard the „QUEEN“ at the time, haaving dinner.
